OUR COMPANY
Deliberate, Careful, and Honest
Tallowmark was founded on the belief that most people benefit from having someone sit alongside them and walk through their financial picture — calmly, clearly, and without any agenda other than understanding.
Back to HomeOUR STORY
How Tallowmark Began
Tallowmark came together in Hat Yai in 2018, when a small group of finance professionals noticed a consistent pattern among friends and acquaintances: people were not short on ambition or effort, but many found the language of personal finance alienating — full of jargon, assumptions, and products they did not need.
The name Tallowmark takes its cue from an older craft tradition: tallow was used to mark quality and readiness. We carry that idea into financial education — marking out where things stand clearly, so that the path forward becomes easier to see.
Since opening, we have worked with several hundred clients across Songkhla province, including young professionals, small business operators, and retirees planning for their later years. Our work is local, deliberate, and carried out without the pressures of product sales or commission targets.
MISSION
What We Are Here to Do
To give individuals and families in Thailand the financial knowledge they need to make decisions with clarity — through structured education, written outputs, and honest conversation.
OUR VALUES
The Principles We Work By
- Honesty: We present your financial situation as it is, not as you might wish it to be.
- Care: Every client's circumstances are different. We take time to understand yours.
- Clarity: We use plain language throughout — no unnecessary complexity.
- Independence: We do not sell products. Our only interest is your understanding.

STANDARDS
How We Maintain Quality
Professional Credentials
All educators hold relevant qualifications in finance or accounting from accredited Thai institutions. We maintain continuing professional development through annual workshops.
Client Confidentiality
All client information is held securely and never shared with third parties. Our data handling procedures follow Thailand's Personal Data Protection Act (PDPA).
Written Outputs
Every programme delivers a written document to the client. These are reviewed internally before delivery and reflect the specific details discussed during sessions.
Session Standards
Sessions are structured to a consistent framework while remaining adaptable. We review session quality through client feedback forms distributed after each programme concludes.
No Products, No Commission
Tallowmark does not sell financial products and receives no commission from any financial institution. This separation keeps our advice entirely in the client's interest.
Local Knowledge
We operate within the context of Thai banking systems, local costs of living, and the regional economic characteristics of Southern Thailand — giving our sessions practical grounding.
FINANCIAL EDUCATION IN SOUTHERN THAILAND
Serving Hat Yai and Songkhla Province
Hat Yai is one of the most economically active cities in the south of Thailand, with a diverse population of working professionals, traders, and families managing household budgets across different income levels. Personal financial literacy remains an area where structured, one-to-one education can make a substantial difference to how people plan and save.
Tallowmark has been part of that effort since 2018 — working with salaried employees, business owners, and students entering the workforce. Our programmes address real questions about household cash flow, savings habits, and the fundamentals of how financial instruments function — all adapted to the Thai context.
Sessions are available in English at our Phetkasem Road office, with an option for video calls where clients prefer remote arrangements. Enquiries from outside Hat Yai are welcome.
